These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Road Test Ready website and your purchase or use of our guides, videos, coaching, educational materials, digital products, and related services.
By accessing our website, purchasing a product or service, registering for content, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Educational Purpose
Road Test Ready provides educational and informational materials designed to help individuals better understand and prepare for driving and road-test situations.
Road Test Ready does not guarantee that any individual will pass a road test.
Success depends on numerous factors, including preparation, driving ability, practice, judgment, compliance with traffic laws, vehicle condition, testing conditions, and the independent evaluation of the examiner.
2. No Government or DMV Affiliation
Road Test Ready is an independent educational business.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Road Test Ready is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or any other government agency.
Road Test Ready materials should not be interpreted as official DMV publications, rules, regulations, or instructions.
Users should consult official government sources for current licensing requirements, regulations, testing requirements, and other official information.
3. No Guarantee of Road-Test Results
Our guides, videos, coaching, and educational materials are intended to improve preparation and understanding.
We make no promise, warranty, or guarantee that using Road Test Ready products or services will result in:
Passing a road test
Receiving a driver's license
Avoiding mistakes during an examination
Receiving any particular score or examiner decision
Becoming a safe or proficient driver within any particular period
The road-test examiner and applicable licensing authority have sole authority over official testing and licensing decisions.
4. User Responsibility
Driving involves inherent risks.
You are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment, following applicable traffic laws, obtaining appropriate professional driving instruction where necessary, and practicing in a lawful and safe manner.
Nothing contained in a Road Test Ready guide, video, class, coaching session, website, or other material should be used as a substitute for applicable law, official DMV requirements, or appropriate behind-the-wheel instruction.
If information in our materials conflicts with applicable law or official government requirements, the applicable law or official requirement controls.
5. Digital Products
Road Test Ready may sell downloadable or electronically delivered products, including guides, videos, instructional materials, checklists, blueprints, and similar resources.
Your purchase provides you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased material for your own personal educational purposes.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property to you.
6. Coaching and Live Services
Road Test Ready may offer coaching, online instruction, live walkthroughs, classes, consultations, or similar educational services.
Information provided during these sessions is educational in nature.
Unless specifically represented otherwise in writing, these services do not constitute DMV-certified behind-the-wheel driver education and do not provide government-issued certificates, licenses, or credentials.
7. Refund Policy
Road Test Ready offers a 7-day refund period on eligible purchases.
Refund requests must be made within seven (7) calendar days of the original purchase date.
After the 7-day period expires, purchases are non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law.
For scheduled coaching, live sessions, classes, or similar services, a refund may not be available once the service has been substantially provided or completed, subject to applicable law.
Road Test Ready reserves the right to deny refund requests involving fraud, abuse of the refund policy, repeated purchases and refund requests, or other misuse, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Intellectual Property
All Road Test Ready content, including but not limited to:
Guides
Videos
Written materials
Graphics
Training systems
Checklists
Worksheets
Website copy
Course materials
Branding
Logos
Presentations
is owned by or licensed to Road Test Ready and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publish, upload, share, sublicense, modify for redistribution, or commercially exploit Road Test Ready materials without prior written authorization.
9. Account and Access Sharing
Where products or services are provided through individual access links, accounts, memberships, or login credentials, access is intended solely for the purchaser.
You may not share paid access with others unless Road Test Ready expressly permits it.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our website, products, or services to:
Violate applicable law
Infringe intellectual-property rights
Distribute purchased materials without authorization
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with website operation or security
Commit fraud or misrepresent your identity
Copy, scrape, or commercially exploit our content without authorization
11. Accuracy and Changes
Road-test procedures, traffic laws, DMV policies, regulations, and testing practices may change.
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information but cannot guarantee that every piece of information will remain current at all times.
Users are responsible for verifying current official requirements when necessary.
Road Test Ready may revise, update, replace, or discontinue content, products, pricing, or services at any time.
12. Testimonials and Examples
Any testimonials, examples, stories, or results presented on our website or in our marketing represent individual experiences.
They should not be interpreted as promises or guarantees that another person will achieve the same or similar results.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Road Test Ready and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our website, products, educational materials, coaching, or services.
